Due to the recent loss of a friend who died with a severe form of cancer, I'm trying to raise money for Cancer Research.
Therefore Ive decided to organise a bring and buy sale of clothes, shoes and accessories on Friday 21st May at the Little Paxton Scout Hut from 7-11.30pm
I thought that as some SW members might want to get rid of some "LARGE" clothes it could be an opportunity to donate clothes they've grown out of and be given the opportunity of buying a dress size down at a fraction of the cost.
Clothes will be displayed in sizes and a changing area provided to try things on. Of course, refreshments will be on offer (mainly of the grape variety - but limited!!!) and a raffle.
With your permission I could collect bags of unwanted clothes before the meetings on Tuesday which in turn gives people a ticket to come along to the evening and buy a new "thinner" wardrobe.
As the saying goes, "One man's rubbish is another man's treasure!!"
